Rain fell quietly from the grey sky.
It was one of those soft showers, the kind that made it seem as if you were looking at the landscape through a thin gauze curtain. Melancholy rumbles of thunder slowly rolled around the clouds hanging low and thick on the horizon.
The atmosphere reflected Callie’s mood perfectly as she sat on the front porch swing, keeping time with the symphony of the brewing storm.
An abrupt flash of lightning caused her dog to pad nervously back and forth across the glossy painted porch boards. “Relax Caesar, it’s just the universe blowing off some steam.”
Cocking his ear, Caesar’s eyes prodded with a you gotta be kidding me, right? This sounds like the precursor to Armageddon kind of look.
Callie patted the cushion beside her, angry at the empty space where Seth should be sitting. The retriever jumped up, circled three times, flopped his butt half on the seat and half on Callie’s thigh and panted heavily in her face.
“My goodness, Caesar! Your breath is horrendous! You’ve been eating deer turds again, haven’t you?”
A sudden gust of wind picked up and blew the dogs floppy ears, mirroring the turmoil Callie felt in her gut. She stroked its golden fur, trying to alleviate her dark mood.
“Where is Seth, Caesar? Why hasn’t he called me, yet? How am I supposed to know when and where to meet him, if he doesn’t call?!?” Frustration oozed from her words, making Caesar whimper. “I’m sorry buddy. It’s okay. I guess the universe and I both need to blow off a little steam.”
Thunder cracked in an extravagant roar of its hidden talent and the heavens opened up in all their glory. Bolts of lightning tickled the atmosphere, warning Earth to behave itself or it would show the power it could truly wield.
Callie remembered the last time it stormed like this. She and Seth were on vacation. The roof of the stone rental cottage leaked like a sieve. They had to set coffee mugs and cereal bowls around the floor to catch the drips. Thank goodness the fireplace was solid and allowed the flames to crackle and spurt, keeping them warm.
“I have an idea,” Seth said, coming up with yet another of his ingenious games. He had an excellent imagination and their sex life never lacked for keeping things exciting.
“Come here, Callie.” His words, effective as a physical touch, tingled her flesh and sent an ache to her loins.
When she moved to stand in front of him, he slowly undressed her, button by button. Taking his time and making her stand excruciatingly still as his hands explored her.
“Lie down.”
As Callie turned towards the sofa, Seth directed her again. “No… over here, on the floor.”
“But there’s water dripping over there!”
“I know.” Mischief sparkled like diamonds in his eyes.
Callie’s suspicion grew as she watched Seth replace the rainwater filled coffee mug with a towel.
“Right here, Callie. I want you to park your sexy ass on the wet spot of this towel. That’s right… now lay back… scoot down a little… spread your legs… Perfect!”
Callie closed her eyes. “Good thing I’m in front of the firepla… WHOA!!” She bolted upright as an ice-cold raindrop hit squarely on her exposed pussy.
“Relax, baby. Lie back down and close your eyes again.”
“Oh my god Seth,” she purred. “You are so devious.” Warmth was already spreading through her center as she eagerly anticipated the next drop.
When it hit, Seth’s moans echoed her own and she felt his naked body unfold at her side. He traced her jaw with his fingertip. “You are so beautiful Callie,” he whispered, planting tiny kisses on her neck.
Callie gasped as another raindrop hit home.
Then another.
And another.
The storm intensified and the drips turned to a steady stream. It pounded her swollen clit and Callie squirmed under the deluge. Her slit pulled wide by the band of water and she raised her hips as if to a lover.
Mother Nature fucked her passionately and when Seth bit down on Callie’s shoulder, she convulsed with the ecstasy of a forbidden dance.
“Seth… Seth… oh god… Seth!”
He pulled her breast into his mouth and sucked hard on her nipple as she rode wave after surging wave of unrelenting climax.
Callie’s eventual deep sigh, as she rolled out from under her new lover and onto the chest of her old, was filled with so much satisfaction, it made Seth smile and she basked in the glow of it.
“This is quite the storm, Callie. Don’t you think? Callie?”
Callie opened her eyes, the uncertainty of her whereabouts evident on her face. “Seth! You’re home! I was waiting for you! I must have fallen asleep, I was dreaming of our mountain vacation. Remember? The one with the perfect little cottage and the leaky roof.”
“Ya,” Seth chuckled as he scratched the dogs ears. “That was a good one.” He stood silent for a long moment before reaching to his crotch and adjusting his growing erection. “You know what, Callie? I have an idea…”

This was so well written, so much detail in a short story. I felt as if I were a fly on the wall, watching the entire scene unfolding. Such a delicious tale you’ve woven here. I could almost taste the raindrops.
